I can tell you, I'm certainly not lonely at night, darling.

One day I woke up from that dream they kept me in and vowed I would break free and live my own damn life for myself. That Western themed Swear In -- do you remember it? That was essentially what my world was like, and those poor robots could have been me back in my earliest years.

[He knew she was free and lived as she wished, but what she described sounded as if her world was nothing more than a brothel. Fantasies for rich men? He knew what those fantasies usually entailed.]

I remember how you reacted in seeing them. [The look in her eyes hadn't left him.] If it's possible to break free, you will. There are few women I know with your strength.

And I also know that you'll help me if I am in need. You know that sort of trait would make for a good leader in De Chima. Chief of the police department or leading the firefighters. Hell, even mayor.

Someone once suggested I consider the police department.

[The suggestion leaves him a bit speechless.]

I don't-- [Power wasn't something he eagerly chased.] I don't know what good that would do.

Oh, you could do plenty of good, darling. You're a natural leader. And you know why? It's because you don't necessarily want to be a leader. But you have the know how and you know how to get things done that will ultimately benefit everyone.

Can imPorts even be in that sort of position? I would think they want one of their own.

[He's uncomfortable at the idea, but it doesn't escape him that this position is similar to Sam and Lyanna Mormont pushing him to accept the role of leader.]

I don't see why not? It's never been done before, but Mitchell Hundred was the first to become a Senator. And that harbors a bit more power than simply a mayor.

I'm not familiar with what being a mayor means.
